Eureka Pound

Working to find loving homes for unwanted pets

Inserted Image

The Eureka Animal Pound, located North of Eureka on P Road at the airport, is a no-kill facility. The City works with many rescues and adoption agencies to find homes for animals rescued from Eureka. Many times we pick up an animal on the street and we have no idea who it might belong to because there is no tag registration or worse, we have a pet caught running-at-large and the owners just don't want to spend the money to pay the fine to get their pet back. Either way that leaves the City with a lost and lonely pet that needs a new home.

If you have lost your pet and suspect that it may have gotten picked up by the city please check the Animal Lineup. We post pictures as we take in animals and try to keep up to date. Of course we may not have the latest pictures up so give it a day or call the Administrators Office at 620-583-6140 for the latest information on animals we may have custody.

Or if you may be in the market for a new pet or know someone who could provide a loving, caring home for a lost furry friend please refer to our animal line-up for adoption to see what animals may be available. Or give us a call at the City Administrators Office, 620-583-6140, and we will be glad to help.
