1% Sales Tax Renewal
In November of 2024 the City of Eureka voters approved an extension on the City's 1% sales tax for street improvements for ten years. Earlier in 2024 the City developed a comprehensive street pavement management plan. The plan included the evaluation of the condition ratings and core sample data of every street and road in Eureka to determine the appropriate treatment for each segment of road. The plan also includes a a breakdown of the funding required to improve the overall quality of the City's street network and helps ensure the public tax dollars are efficiently and effectively
